tires too grippy?

    does this thing creates some kind of a coating to the tire surface?

    not exactly sure how i would describe it, but when i used that before, the tires seems shiny and smoother, but you can not feel a coating.
    used on auldey mini 4wd tires
    haven't tried on tamiya yet

    "Modifications to the tire's shape are allowed if they comply with the Car Measuring System outlined above. However, changing the material properties of the tire surface (including, but not limited to, applying glue or other substances to the tire surface) are prohibited."

    From the Tamiya regulations. This is an illegal modification.

    yes it is. but just for fun when playing locally without tamiya regulations

    same as the concept of low friction tires
    makes the tires less grippy on corners
    therefore theres no reduction in speed
    well makes oyour car faster by being efficient in running on corners
