Got a new MS coming in. Will post pics later. Phone having issues.
Prepped the chassis and made some quick temp tires for this race Saturday. Used an old set of wheels and saved the super hard portion on them.
Tomorrow the real work begins.
Got a bit done tonight.
Hey orange, I don't suppose you could do a quick pic guide of how to make the FL system? I was thinking of trying to make it on my leo black.
this might help
Now here's something really special.
12mb PDF version
During my recent visit to Force Labo, Koike-san (こいけさん at forcelabo) was extremely kind to get me into why everyone there was so fast: VERY SOPHISTICATED ROLLER DAMPERS. All legal.
Koike-san showed me his car, and gave me the printout with pictures attached here - so much to learn from!
Check him out on Twitter, (cube_candy03), and to see just how awesome his work is, watch these video posts:
Could you post this to the damper compendium please? It's very helpful, I don't read Japanese but I think I can work it out from the pics.
Also, I like the colours orange.....makes me want to go get some juice though >.<
Juice? you mean orange bang!
@zerosc Where was that printout when I was super hard squinting at pics!!! Thanks for that!
Got more work done.
Not sure I like the front setup, I like the idea of the "AT Bumper" but not sold on this version of it, but I still have a few days to do some finishing touches.
Thinking I need to update my rear FL system as well. Believe this was the first rendition of it available. Want to incorporate a sliding damper into the FL system.
Decided against the front pivot bumper, couldn't figure out a way to prevent a positive roller angle while looking stylish.
This will be entering the race tomorrow:
Feels good man! They gave out these official Tamiya medals for the first time for placing on the podium. I saved up enough luck this time to win 1st place.
Good job man.
