What grease do you guys/gals use? Im wondering if the same grear grease can be used for the Wild Mini 4wd off-road trucks?
    Thanks!

yes it can be used. The standard grease is not very good because it is very thick. Normally I use a light oil for the gears. it helps lubricate them but is not so sticky that it slows down the performance. For a wild mini anything is fine since it's going to be slow either way and the heavier grease will not wear off nearly as quickly

    Thank you!

I was also wondering, if I swapped out a motor with more torque, like the houser dash 3, would it perform better? Or are the gears limiting it's performance?

It will be slightly faster but the gear ratio is so low that it's not too quick. There used to be her sets that were about 18:1 which helped a bit, and we also modified gear sets to be much much faster than that.

    Power dash and stock gears!

Also, you should head to DXN on Saturday, they are doing the very rare wild mini race with their custom off road course. It's a lot of fun and everything crashes and flips over. I am bringing my son to race and will have my old school track racing wild mini there as well.

Looks like about a 1pm start for the races.
